Terms of use
These terms govern access to and use of Lumida. Please read them before creating an account or connecting Google Health.
Last updated on July 14, 2026
Purpose and acceptance
By creating an account or using Lumida, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the privacy policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. Acceptance of these terms does not replace the separate consent requested for access to health data.
Eligibility
Lumida is reserved for individuals aged 18 or over who have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. The service is currently offered as a free beta.
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for your account and agree to:
- provide accurate and current registration information;
- keep your login credentials confidential and use a secure password;
- use the account for yourself and not impersonate another person;
- notify Lumida promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Connecting Google Health
Connecting Google Health is optional. You choose the Google account to connect and authorize the requested read-only permissions through Google OAuth. Lumida accesses only the categories needed for the features presented and you can disconnect the integration at any time. During the Google test phase, access remains subject to available capacity and prior approval.
Free beta and availability
Lumida is provided free of charge during its beta phase. Features, compatibility and access conditions may change as the product develops. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, security, provider limitations or technical incidents, and no uninterrupted availability commitment is made.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Lumida for an unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
- attempt to bypass security, access another account or disrupt the service;
- perform excessive automated requests, scraping or extraction that harms the service;
- upload, connect or use data that you are not authorized to access.
No medical advice
Lumida presents data for personal information and wellbeing purposes. It does not verify the medical accuracy of source-device data, diagnose conditions or replace a doctor, emergency service or qualified healthcare professional. Never delay seeking medical advice because of information displayed by Lumida.
Third-party services
Lumida depends on services operated by Google, Fitbit and technical providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services. Lumida is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, Google Health or Fitbit and cannot guarantee the availability or accuracy of third-party services.
Intellectual property
Lumida and its original content, interface and software remain the property of their respective rights holders. These terms grant only a personal, limited, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the service.
Suspension and account closure
Access may be restricted or suspended to protect the service, comply with the law, address a breach of these terms or manage beta capacity. You may stop using Lumida, disconnect Google Health and request account deletion at any time.
Liability
Lumida is provided with reasonable care in view of its free beta status. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect loss, loss caused by a third-party service, inaccurate source data or an interruption beyond its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to Lumida, its providers or applicable law. The effective date is shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention by an appropriate means.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. The parties will first seek an amicable solution; otherwise, the competent courts are determined by applicable procedural law.
